Meet Jordyn

My name is Jordyn Whitehouse and I am the owner of HollyLight Photography. My love of photography was sparked in grade eight tech ed. class during our photography unit where I fell in love with capturing beauty in a photograph. That love propelled me to continue taking tech ed. throughout high school so I could spend class time capturing photos, and ultimately led me to go to school at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) and take their Photographic Technology program. I am currently in my last semester of school and am excited to use everything I’ve learned during my time at school to further my photography business after graduation.

When I don’t have a camera in hand, I can be found with my violin, flowers, or a cup of tea in hand instead. I currently teach violin and also work part time at a flower shop in Leduc, and was formally an employee at DavidsTea as well.

Fun fact: my favourite tea is peppermint!
